The project hence aims to encapsulate the the imprints that are left behind, memories that transcend time and space. It seals the intrinsic value of any life lived – memories that refuse to go away. It unwraps mortality, encases it in a clear space so that the living can look through and remember. It does away with the finality of strictly monitored goodbyes. You have a safe place now to keep hat is sacred, the narratives that intertwined with your life once. It gives the living all the chances they deserve to celebrate, mourn and keep imprints beyond the physical intact.The material used is glass and concrete. It rises above the ground, the clear glass hiding what is yours in plain sight and giving you a chance to keep it rooted on the ground with concrete. The glass case opens to stories of what were previously lists.
